On May 1st, Bison Botanics had the pleasure of hosting a group of students from Erie Community College’s Cannabis Science program. As a leading cannabis processor in Western New York, we were excited to showcase our facility and give these future professionals a glimpse into the industry.

The Cannabis Science program at ECC is a unique and innovative program that prepares students for careers in the growing cannabis industry. Students learn about the biology, chemistry, and cultivation of cannabis, as well as the legal and business aspects of the industry.

During their visit, the ECC students were able to see firsthand how our state-of-the-art processing facility operates. They learned about our extraction and refinement processes, as well as the quality control measures we have in place to ensure the purity and potency of our products.

The students also had the opportunity to speak with our team members, including our lab professionals, who shared their expertise and answered questions about the industry and our products. It was a great chance for these students to get a sense of what it’s like to work in the cannabis industry and what skills and knowledge are required to succeed.
